As of yesterday I have what people refer to as an asain mullet. I donated the top layer of my hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths. Even though it was not nearly half the hair on my head I was very surprised at the amount stuck in the rubber band. Trust me; I have plenty of hair to go around.
VEGGIE QUEST
Also today is day 3 of my vegetarian adventure. No one has said any unkind words yet, but I did have a small altercation tonight at a low country boil hosted at my sister's house. Now, these boils almost always contain shrimp and sausage accompanied by corn and potatoes. I'm not a big fan of corn-on-the-cob so I resorted to the potatoes tonight, which I was fin with. But I already had some family along with friends trying to tell me that "oh, shrimp isn't meat, and neither is sausage." Yeah, yeah. Sorry people, I'm a woman of integrity. So it's been three days. I'm still going strong.
WEDDING PLANNER
Now next on my batch of goals, other than getting a job, is getting my best friend's wedding planned out. Her man lives overseas and is now entering the last process of getting his visa to get back over here. If all goes as planned he will be here next month! So it's go time for me and my best friend. We spent the day trying on all kinds of dresses (bridal and bridesmaid). I'm excited to jump into this crazy couple of months with my friend. Colors to choose, flowers to pick, food to find, people to talk to, phone calls to make, and so so so so much more! It is going to be a great experience. I am wedding planner, KD. Yep. Sure am.
